ABOUT US
International Neighbours is dedicated to the promotion
of community cohesion by celebrating diversity, to build positive relationships, respect, trust and value for each other, to create a strong and inclusive community.
In 2008 a group of local volunteers came together to organise a cultural event for 'One World Week'.
This was greatly appreciated by the community, so it was decided to form a constituted group and at our AGM we decided to call ourselves International Neighbours, to present an annual event starting in 2009.
The International Neighbours Group consists of a good cross section of people from a diverse cultural background in our local community. There are 6 executive members and around 20 active members with some Asian, African and Turkish in origin along with some native British.
